Since ancient times the domestic feline has held a very special relationship with human kind.  The early Egyptians thought their felines to be partners in life and nocturnal guardians of the human life force (Ca’h or Soul).  Many oriental beliefs consider felines an example of natures’ perfect balance of power and contentment.  Recent scientific research provides ample evidence to postulate that a cuddly kitty can effectively help control Stress, Anxiety, Depression and assist with improving related medical and mental health problems.  By any measure or perspective, being owed by a domestic feline will help lead you to a happier, healthier, and longer life.

Of all the wonderful breeds of domesticated cats there is little doubt that the Himalayan of Persian-Siamese descent ranks among the supreme as the personality best suited for compatibility with in-house human environments.  Our goal at STARSEEKERS HIMALAYAN KITTENS is to provide traditional "doll face" pedigree Himalayan kittens that are human family acclimated by building on the inherent personality traits of the breed to produce the finest of lifelong feline soul mates.

Our involvement with Himalayans’ began at our Colorado mountain home in 1997 following the purchase of our first pedigreed Himalayan female, a wonderful kitten we named Silky.  Her attractive Blue-Cream color points highlighted her natural beauty and her unique loving personality prompted our friends to request kittens should we decide to breed her.  She is retiring now at eleven years old and still going strong!  Silky gave us kittens for ten years now since she started breeding in 1997!

Since then, we have delivered kittens to over 200 families from our limited "Agents of Joy" breeding program.  Each kitten leaves us with a lifetime mission to bring smiles, laughs, and love in to all the lives they touch.  We have a hard-earned 100% customer satisfaction rating and are happy to share our references and kitten photos with all who are interested in the special quality of life our kittens can add.  We specialize in "doll face" Himalayan family members and all of our kittens descend from CFA registered pedigree bloodlines and are hand raised.  NOTE: STARSEEKERS HIMALAYAN KITTENS is NOT involved with Cat Shows or feline mass-breeding programs (kitten mills).

To assure healthy natural kitten growth we supplement mom’s milk with a professional quality non-lactose kitten formula known as KMR and when of age we begin feeding them the best in both wet and dry kitten foods.  They receive plenty of love and exercise to optimize their growth experiences during this important time in their lives.  By the age of 5 weeks, they are regularly eating a healthy kitten diet and are fully litter box trained.  By customer delivery at 8 to 12 weeks of age they are completely human acclimated and fully self-sufficient.  Our pricing includes a final vet exam, initial vaccinations, and a State Health Certificate to guarantee the healthy disease free condition of the kittens in final preparation for joining their respective new households as a lifelong family member.

The Kitten Owners' Gallery is under construction and will added at a later date with pictures of many of our happy kitten owners' kittens in their new homes with their comments sent to us over the time that we have been breeding.  We plan to grow this site gradually over time and continue to add new owners to this section of our website.

Webmaster's Note: I have tried to format this home page to be optimized for both 1024 X 768 and 800 X 600 type monitors and have sacrificed some of my design for the larger screen to still be visible on the smaller monitors, however could not make it look perfect for both sizes.  Therefore, I needed to design this page for the majority of monitors today, which is the 1024 X 768 format, so it will look better at that density.  I apologize if the format does not fit into the monitors smaller than the 1024 X 768 without overlapping, but I did move the pointers to the left border to be visible on the different size monitors, so that most of the pictures and text may be seen clearly.  It is not perfect for all sizes on the home page, but most other pages should wrap to the size of your monitors.
