CFA™ Registered Breeding Policies & Practices The four kittens above in order are: a blue-eyed white female, a lilac point male, a blue point male, and a blue-eyed white male. Kittens usually go home with their new "humans" after the eight week vet visit if they are being adopted locally. If there is a plane flight involved, it is best to wait until at least ten to twelve weeks of age. Our kittens start eating canned and dry kitten foods plus drinking their KMR Kitten Formula a few times per day at four to five weeks of age. They are litter box trained by five weeks old and a maximum of six weeks old without any "accidents". Most breeders will not allow a kitten to leave this young, however, we spend most of our time with the kittens socializing, loving, cuddling, feeding them kitten formula frequently by syringe starting right after birth which most breeders do not do, and training them, they learn to accept we "humans" as their other moms and will adapt to their new homes immediately. Our kittens do not hide or feel scared when adopting into our new homes based upon our experience in breeding since 1997. We have lots of excellent references throughout the years that will testify to that fact, and that their kittens follow them around like little puppies, come when called by name if we are given their names when they are first reserved and we have called them by name for weeks, are totally litter box trained without accidents, eat and drink perfectly, are big and healthy for their age which has been verified many times over by the different vets around the country where they have gone to live including our last vet in Colorado and his wife who adopted a kitten from us personally. The vet and his wife adopted a cream point male named "Dwight" who may be seen in our cream point color section. We have moved from Colorado at the last half of 2003 and updated our listings to Massachusetts and now to New Hampshire as we have moved, so people are still just finding out that we are here and we never advertise in the newspapers. We are now in Deerfield, NH in a permanent residence. You can find us online, in Cat Fancy Magazine, CatsUSA and KittensUSA Magazines, at the different kitten lists for CFA breeders and through internet searches, and as like most reputable CFA breeders, we do not need to advertise in the newspapers since the demand through the word of mouth and on the internet keeps us quite busy with enough interested people and more than we have enough kittens to provide. We are considered "Traditional Himalayan Breeders" as described very well in an article written by the "Cat Fancy Magazine" for their Himalayan cat description. The September issue, coming out in August, will be a special issue for the Himalayan cats, which we have advertisements in each month. Please follow this kitty for our reprint of the article with our comments after the reference from "Cat Fancy Magazine."
